Though theological books can sharpen our minds, sound theology springs to life in the hands of Christians serving on the ground.
The Francis J. Grimké lecture series, named for the faithful Presbyterian minister of the 19th century, highlights Christian leaders and laypeople who are wisely living and applying the word of God in their unique cultural contexts. Often there is an emphasis on the diverse experiences of Christian life among the global nations, living Christianity on the local margins of society, or of those living under anti-Christian hostility.
Community neighbors, students, local pastors, and parachurch leaders – all are welcome to gather around food, fellowship and prayer, and to engage with speakers as they apply the Bible to a variety of global, cultural, and Christian-life topics.
All talks given in the Francis J. Grimké Lecture Series can be found down below, and are also available on the RTS Mobile App.
